Soul Shard fragments further refine this path, allowing demons to spawn passively, sacrificing lesser thralls to ward off control, or ruthlessly prioritizing eviscerated targets.

Example: The Vanguard’s Fury

While in Demonform, key skills summon loyal archfiends to orbit and fight alongside you—a following brute, a circling flaming head, additional grasping hands, and a blasting sentinel eye.

This is the warlock’s creed: to master hell itself, using its deepest horrors as the instruments of its own ruin.The Hellguard Abodian experiences enhanced casting and movement speeds, with its attacks now cleaving enemies.

When commanding the Abodian, brimstone eruptions occur, launching them periodically both while moving and upon dismounting.

Each brimstone eruption inflicts damage on enemies caught in its path.

In Demonform, the Warden steadily loses Dominance over time.

Summoning a Greater Demon nearby helps extend the duration of these summons.

Additionally, Demonform amplifies the damage output of Hellfire Demonology abilities.

While volatile in Demonform, the Inferno skill causes you to radiate flames briefly upon using Hellfire abilities.

This fiery emanation deals a portion of the Hellfire damage periodically to nearby foes for a limited time.

When you summon Laalish, the greater demon, your recast abilities no longer break your shadowform stealth, though each cast consumes several shadowform stacks. While maintaining shadowform, your abyss skills hit harder and your movement speed improves with every stack you have.

Soul shard fragments bring unique bonuses:

• Unfathomable: Laalish weakens foes, dealing extra damage and executing enemies. Successfully executing an enemy shortens the cooldown of your command to summon Laalish.
• Blasphemous: Recast skills now hex enemies on impact, boosting the damage those enemies receive from your abyss demonology abilities.
• Subjugation: Summoning a great demon without a soul shard causes it to consume all your dominance stacks, ramping up its damage based on how many were used. Losing shadowform stacks also grants you dominance.

Calling forth Vollach, the fallen one, lets you siphon its life essence to increase your maximum overpower. With enough overpower stacks, your occult abyss attacks apply additional hexes, and your occult hellfire spells gain a chance to temporarily grant volatility. These occult skills grow stronger and larger with each overpower stack.

Soul shard fragments enhance Vollach's powers further:

• Abyssal: Hex stacks can accumulate to a cap. When enemies gain stacks, a portion of damage dealt echoes after a brief delay and then removes all hexes. Commanding Vollach increases the hex stacks applied by occult abyss skills while siphoning its power.
• Scorching: Your occult hellfire spells become permanently empowered but at the cost of some of your maximum life. Volatility can now stack, increasing both the damage and life cost of empowered skills. Commanding Vollach siphons life to fortify you and causes Vollach to bear some life cost while you maintain siphoning.
• Twisted: Occult hellfire spells consume hex stacks on enemies to boost damage against them. Occult abyss skills empowered by volatility trigger explosions on first hits, dealing extra damage.

Landing hits with a core ability amplifies the damage enemies receive from you, stacking per skill up to a cap. Variants of the Archfiend Demonform skill are considered core skills and consume wrath.

Cage of Madness

Evading attacks transforms you into a furious lunatic temporarily, culminating in an explosion dealing 2,500% of Command Fallen’s damage.

While enraged, your movement speed accelerates, and a miniature lunatic spawns every half-second, relentlessly hunting foes.

Command Fallen’s damage output is also enhanced during this state.

Litany of Sable

Dread Claws inflict greater damage, and when you gain a stack of Shadowform, extra claws shoot out to strike enemies.

Cowl of Malefic Torment

Hex curses enemies below a certain health threshold with doom, sustaining the hex and dealing a fraction of Doom’s damage each second until their demise. Doom’s damage is further increased.

Lurid Pact

Rampage’s damage scales higher. Each foe or demon slain by Rampage enlarges the brute and strengthens its smashing attacks.

Seal of the Ophanim

Profane Sentinel’s damage is boosted, and an additional eye is summoned to follow you for 10 seconds, aiding in combat.

The Eightfold Idol

Blazing Scream leaves behind trails of Sigil of Subversion’s shadow or lava. The Sigil’s damage is also amplified.

Ae’grom’s Schism

Damage dealt by Ae’grom and its summons is increased. You also call forth Ae’grom’s other half and gain an extra charge of Command Ae’grom.

Hellhound’s Sabatons

Abodian’s damage is enhanced. After Command Abodian concludes, a fiery chain links you, dealing periodic drag damage and granting a temporary movement speed boost.

Rictus of Terror

Taz’rauth’s damage output rises. Command Taz’rauth’s Terror Realm becomes an ultimate skill with extended duration, during which your abyss abilities can execute enemies outright.
